During the Disney Parks panel at this year’s D23 Expo, we received exciting news of a brand new parade that will debut at Disneyland Park in Spring 2020.

Bob Chapek, who is the chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products, shared the details about the next generation of animated stories and how Disneyland will be bringing the stories to life.

Next spring, the all-new Magic Happens parades will be riding down the streets of Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland Park. In the Disney Parks Blog, they describe the parade as a way to celebrate “awe-inspiring moments of magic—both large and small—that are at the heart of so many Disney stories” and that Magic Happens “reminds us we don’t need wings to fly, shooting stars were made to wish upon, and magic doesn’t stop at midnight.”

This dazzling parade will showcase stunning floats, beautiful costumes, and beloved Disney characters like Moana and Miguel and his dog Danté from Pixar’s Coco – all led by Mickey Mouse and his pals. A new song will also be produced in partnership with singer-songwriter Todrick Hall which will mesh with classic Disney tunes in a fresh, contemporary style.

Keep an eye out for more details as we wait for the arrival of Magic Happens at Disneyland Park in Spring 2020.
