With all the stress in the world these days, it’s so much fun to talk about something that brings joy to all. That is the D23 Disney Expo in Anaheim this fall. D23 Expo, the largest Disney fan event in the world, celebrates all the wonderful worlds of The Walt Disney Company under one roof, including the best of Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, and Marvel across film, television, streaming, theme parks, products, online, music, live entertainment, and more. And it’s time for it to make its triumphant return. And I can’t think of a better way to kickoff the Walt Disney Company’s 100th Anniversary.

Let’s dive into what we know so far. D23 announced the ticket pricing for the event and even added a bonus if you are a Visa cardholder. Visa is the main sponsor of the upcoming D23 event. Here is the pricing for the D23 event.

Disney is expected to release more information about this year’s D23 Expo events and programming closer to September. Here’s what we know so far:

  • The Mousequerade costume contest will return. It will be hosted by Nina West and judged by Yvette Nicole Brown, Ashley Eckstein and Ally Maki.
  • The Walt Disney Archives team is curating an exhibit celebrating Disney’s 100th anniversary.
  • The Walt Disney Archives is restoring Walt Disney’s Grumman Gulfstream I company airplane and will transport it to Anaheim for an exhibit sponsored by Amazon.

Also, many of the popular panels during the weekend will be available via Livestream as well which will bring entirely different magic to the event. Stick with all of us here at The DisInsider for all things D23. Will you be at D23?
