
Disney has just revealed that fans of their Academy Award winning hit film ‘Encanto’ Can now experience the movie in a whole new way.
Teaming up with Live Nation, Disney Concerts has announced ‘Encanto: The Sing-Along Film Concert Tour” Where Audiences will be able to attend screenings of the film and sing along while a live on-stage band performs all eight original songs written by Lin-Manuel Miranda.
The tour will span 32 cities beginning on July 18th and will end on August 28th. Major US cities include San Diego, Dallas, Tampa and Chicago. Ridgefield, Washington will be the first stop for the tour when it begins in mid-July with Chicago, Illinois being the final one to wrap things up in late-August.
The ‘Encanto’ soundtrack was a huge success for Disney. With the album holding the No. 1 position on the Billboard 200 chart for nine weeks. The track ‘We Don’t Talk About Bruno’ became the longest-reigning chart-topper for Disney in the US Billboard Hot 100 history. So, it’s no surprise to hear Disney wanted to give fans of all ages a chance to enjoy the music in a new and fun way.
