Disneyland will also add a new entrance to Disney California Adventure shortly.
With all the movie and TV news floating by on feeds this week, Disney Parks decided to drop some details on some of their upcoming projects.
Namely, Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel, one of the Disneyland Resorts’ signature lodging spots, will undergo a Pixar retheming. Moreover, the update includes an entrance directly into Disney California Adventure.
This should NOT be a surprise to most “theme park people,” as “Paradise Pier” at Disney California Adventure underwent an extensive (and controversial?) retheme (also of recent vintage) to “Pixar Pier.”
Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel will soon begin a transformation, with an all-new theme! The reimagining of the hotel will weave the artistry of Pixar into its comfortable, contemporary setting. Guests will gain a new perspective on some of their favorite Pixar worlds and characters through carefully curated artwork, and décor that reveals the creative journey of the artists who helped bring these stories to life.Disney Parks Blog
“Guests will be welcomed into whimsical character moments, like the iconic, playful Pixar Lamp balancing atop its ball in the lobby…” added the PR director. “Stay tuned, as we will share much more about this project soon!”
Meanwhile, the DisneyParksBlog.com also added:
Today, we’re excited to share that a walkway is currently under construction which will soon give Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel guests a convenient entrance to Disney California Adventure park!
In addition, Disneyland hotel guests will soon be able to utilize several new (and returning) benefits:
- “Hey Disney!” voice assistant working with Amazon Echo’s Alexa in Disneyland Resort hotel rooms.
- An ability to send resort purchases to hotel rooms.
- Early access to theme parks for Disneyland Resort hotel guests.
This is a developing story, and there’s surely more to come…
