Last year, a wild rumor circulated that hip-hop superstar Megan Thee Stallion would appear in Marvel Studios’ She-Hulk: Attorney At Law. A year later, the series is now underway and now we know she will in fact appear.
In a new profile with The Cut, she confirmed she was cast in the Marvel Cinematic Universe series. As to what role she is playing, that is being kept under wraps, but rumor has it she is playing a fictionalized version of herself. Sounds like the perfect role for her.
Tatiana Maslany stars as Jennifer Walters / She-Hulk, alongside Jameela Jamil, Josh Segarra, Ginger Gonzaga, Jon Bass, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Tim Roth, Mark Ruffalo, and Benedict Wong. The series is created by series created by Jessica Gao, who also serves as head writer. Kat Cairo and Anu Valia both direct multiple episodes of the nine-episode series.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law premiered on August 18, 2022, and will consist of nine episodes, concluding on October 13. It is the last television series of Phase Four in the MCU. The series received generally positive reviews, with particular praise for Maslany’s performance and the lighthearted tone, though reception to the series’ visual effects was mixed.
