Academy Award-winner Brie Larson may not appear on the big screen again until next year in The Marvels, but fans can see the actress right now in a brand new short on Disney+ called Remembering.
To commemorate its release – and to coincide with the ongoing celebration at D23 – Disney released an exclusive sneak peak of the film earlier today.
You can check it out below!
Directed by Elijah Allan-Blitz, the film follows Larson as a writer who winds up on a fantastic journey as she tries to remember an idea she’s forgotten.
The official synopsis is as follows:
Where do ideas come from? And where do they go when they’re forgotten? These central questions are brought to life in “Remembering,” an original short film by Emmy®-winning director Elijah Allan-Blitz. The story follows a writer (played by Academy Award® winner Brie Larson) who loses a very important idea when her phone rings. Personified as golden light, this lost idea is found by the writer’s inner child who takes us on a journey through The World of Imagination. It’s easy to lose touch with this world, but each of us can be inspired by it—if we just remember.
What sets the film apart from other shorts on the platform – and most other shorts in general – is that it features an augmented reality component and an interactive experience for viewers who hold their phone up to the screen during it.
In addition to starring in the film, Larson also serves as a producer.
Once again you can watch the film now, exclusively on Disney+.
