The presentation for Disney+ and the Disney Channel at D23 was filled with many surprises, but the most memorable surprisingly came from a brief moment with John Stamos.

After promoting the upcoming second season of his series Big Shot, the actor spoke about how the Disney brand brings people together. He went on to say that the last time he had actually hung out with his late friend Bob Saget was at Disneyland.

“I don’t remember what rides we went on, I don’t remember what we ate,” he said, as he began to choke up. “I do remember the feelings we felt. We felt the unspoken love that happens between grown men dressed in pajamas.”

He ended up the brief story with a reference to one of Disney’s most beloved characters. He said, “Winnie the Pooh said, ‘Every day I spend with you is my favorite day.’ Every day I spent with Bob was my favorite day, especially that day at Disneyland. Being able to share this memory with you here today is my new favorite memory. Bob never left anything on the table. He was bombastic with his love.”

It was a touching moment, and one that not only reminds us of the joy Disney brings to people, but acts a reminder to all of us how precious life is too.

Bob Saget passed away earlier this year at the age of 65.
