Eugene Cordero Upped To Series Regular For Season 2 Of Marvel’s ‘Loki’

It’s only been about a week since Ke Huy Quan was officially announced as a part of the second season of Loki. Monday, we got even more casting news about the highly anticipated second season.

According to Deadline, Eugene Cordero, who played the hilarious Time Variance Authority employee named Casey in season one, is getting the promotion of a lifetime and will be a series regular throughout the next season.

Prior to his appearance on the show, the actor made appearances on The Office, The Good Place, and even The Mandalorian. He was last seen in Jo Koy’s comedy Easter Sunday, which hit theaters earlier this year.

Loki is the first Marvel Studios Disney+ series to receive a second season following strong reviews and streaming numbers on Disney+.

Moon Knight directing duo Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead are directing all six episodes. Also returning from season one is Sophie Di Martino and Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Sophie and Ravonna Renslayer respectively. 

At the current time, It is unknown if Wunmi Mosaku or Jonathan Majors will return to their respective roles as Hunter B-15 and Kang the Conqueror, but we anticipate them to.

Michael Waldron returns as writer alongside Eric Martin. Composer Natalie Holt recently confirmed she is returning to score.

Season one of Marvel Studios’ Loki, which is streaming on Disney+, series sees the mercurial villain Loki (Tom Hiddleston) resume his role as the God of Mischief and takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame.
