As news continues to swirl that Agatha: Coven of Chaos will start production in the few weeks, some new details on the production team have surfaced.
According to her Writer’s Guild profile, WandaVision writer Megan McDonnell has joined the writer’s room for Agatha: Coven of Chaos. It’s a WandaVision reunion as she rejoins fellow writers Peter Cameron, Laura Donney, and Cameron Squires. WandaVision creator and exec producer Jac Schaeffer is showrunning Coven of Chaos.
McDonnell most recently worked with Marvel Studios as a writer on the upcoming Captain Marvel sequel The Marvels, which is due out next Summer.
The series, which is set to star Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness, will be a dark comedy, though, additional story details are being kept under wraps. Emma Caufield is also set to appear, reprising her WandaVision role as Sarah Proctor or as most know her “Dottie Jones”.
All 8 episodes of WandaVision are currently streaming on Disney+.
