Clone Wars is back!

Yes sir, after the series was cancelled by Cartoon Network in the year of 2014 Clone Wars is finally set to return on Disney’s streaming service. The announcement recently came out of San Diego Comic Con 2018, by none other than creator; Dave Filoni himself. Clone Wars, only lasted five seasons on Cartoon Network, and a short Lost Episodes arc on Netflix acting as a pseudo season 7. But, after four years of waiting for new episodes and to see where our beloved characters end up after the events of the final episode of the series’ run on Cartoon Network; we’ll finally have all our questions answered in this new season!

The entire original cast of Clone Wars is set to reprise their roles for this new season. That’s right, everyone is back from your favorite bearded Jedi; Obi-Wan Kenobi (James Arnold Taylor), to your favorite fallen hero; Anakin Skywalker (Matt Latner), and of course our favorite padawan turned Jedi knight, Ahsoka Tano (Ashley Eckstein). As well as our favorite Clone Troopers all voiced by the only and only Dee Bradley Baker.

One final thing to note, is that these characters have also appeared in some degree in other Star Wars media. Now I’m not referring to Obi-Wan or Skywalker, but rather our favorite Padawan; Ahsoka Tano. She has appeared in Star Wars Rebels as a supporting character, and we all were dying to know how she survived Order 66, as well as ended up to her starting point in Rebels. Now this writer could go on and on theorizing, for this upcoming season so best to stop it here. Clone Wars has no official release date as of now, but will be a 13 episode adventure!
