New Behind the Scenes ‘Avatar’ Sequel Photo Released

The official Avatar account posted a brand new behind the scenes photo from the Avatar sequels that fans can finally start getting excited for. Avatar, which premiered in 2009, is coming back with four anticipated films starting in 2021.

The photo shows James Cameron directing an underwater scene with what looks like an RDA facility or equipment going down.  Jon Landau, who produces the film, along with titles such as Titanic and Alita: Battle Angel, took the photo and he’s expected to post more sneak peeks coming soon.

The cast will include stars Kate Winslet, Edie Falco, Michelle Yeoh, Vin Diesel, Oona Chaplin, Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Joel David Moore, Dileep Rao, Stephen Lang, Matt Gerald, Jermaine Clement, and Sigourney Weaver.

Avatar 2 will come out on December 17, 2021, and will have three other sequels that will come out every year after.
