The next expansion of Disney and Ravenburger’s magical TCG, Lorcana, “Ursula’s Return”, launches May 17th at hobby stores and May 31st to mass retailers.
Ursula’s Return introduces a new player experience, currently exclusive to this set. The “Illumineer’s Quest”, known as “Deep Trouble”, is a solo or co-op experience. You or a group of friends work together to play against Ursula’s army.
Continuing from Into The Inklands, the Illumineer’s gather their friends and work together to fight Ursula and her new entangled army. From the trailer, it seems Ursula has Bruno Madrigal under her control, and he’s not the only one. Speaking of the Madrigals, the popular characters from the animated film “Encanto” make their debut into Lorcana through this set.
With the announcement of the new set, it means new cards to play and collect. Select cards were revealed with partnered content creators across X (previously Twitter) following the announcement. The new cards feature Mirabel, Luisa, Julieta, Felix, Dolores, and Bruno from “Encanto”, as well as Fab Five bestie, Daisey Duck in her signature “Lady In Waiting” gown from “The Three Musketeers”.
The standard 12 card booster packs, playmats, and 2 start decks will be available in this set. Check your local hobby shops, retail and online stores for listings.
“Ursula’s Return”, the 4th set to Lorcana, will release in May 2024.
