Production for Zombies 4 has commenced in New Zealand!
The upcoming addition to the Disney series follows the journey of Zed and Addison as they set out on a summer road trip following their freshman year of college. Along the way, they stumble upon the contrasting realms of Sunnyside and Shadyside, encountering Nova, Victor, Vera, Ray, and Vargas during their summer adventures. The meeting of these two supernatural factions—zombies, werewolves, and aliens—creates unexpected twists and turns.
Paul Hoen, director of Zombies 1-3, returns to direct this new musical installment. As production begins, the spotlight turns to which actors will be reprising their roles and who will be joining the cast in fresh, new characters!
Returning franchise stars Meg Donnelly and Milo Manheim are back to reprise their roles as Addison and Zed, respectively.
Swayam Bhatia (Disney’s The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers) playing Vera; Julian Lerner (ABC’s The Wonder Years) as Ray; and Mekonnen Knife (Joe vs. Carole) as Vargas, are the newcomers playing the monsters. Lisa Chappell (McLeod’s Daughters) and Jonno Roberts (La Brea) also join the cast in new adult roles as Eldress and Commander Bright, respectively. They join previously announced cast members Donnelly, Manheim, Chandler Kinney (Willa), Kylee Russell (Eliza), Freya Skye (Nova), and Malachi Barton (Victor).
The movie will debut on Disney+ and Disney Channel later this year.
