Jon Favreau’s Oswald the Lucky Rabbit series is looking quite animated.
Deadline reports that the show has found it’s leading actors.
Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Mykal-Michelle Harris, and Ryder Allen are the leads for the series and it’s been reveal who their playing.
Cabot-Conyers’ will be playing Jake, a middle schooler who’s hardworking and has a big heart.
Harris’ character is name Jen, a middle schooler who’s artistic and ahead of the game.
Allen’s character is a middle schooler who’s watchful but doesn’t disappoints his friends named Taylor.
Harris is known HBO’s The Penguin series while Cabot-Conyers and Harris has done work for Disney.
Cabot-Conyers is known for leading role in Disney+ series Stars Wars: Skeleton Crew and the Oscar-winning animated musical film Encanto where he voices Antonio.
Harris has appeared in projects under the Disney Company that includes ABC’s sitcom Mixed-ish, Disney Channel series Raven’s Home and Disney+ film Cheaper by the Dozen reboot.
Oswald the Lucky Rabbit is a silly, self-absorbed bunny and was the first Disney character ever created back in 1927 with 27 shorts until Universal got the rights to the character which led to Mickey Mouse being created and being the mascot of the Walt Disney Company.
Oswald has entered the public domain in 2023.
Jon Favreau’s Oswald the Lucky Rabbit will be hybrid live-action/animated series and is expected to began filming soon.
