Steven Irwin’s son Robert has been making a name for himself and carrying on his father’s legacy with animal conservation. Well, that’s not all, can now call himself a Disney actor.
Robert Irwin has joined the cast of the highly anticipated Zootopia 2. Irwin will play an Aussie koala named Robert Furwin.
Zootopia 2 is officially set to premiere in U.S. theaters on November 26, 2025, just in time for Thanksgiving. This sequel will see the return of beloved characters Judy Hopps, voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin, and Nick Wilde, voiced by Jason Bateman. Other actors joining the sequel include Quinta Brunson, Yvette Nicole Brown, Macaulay Culkin, Andy Samberg, Idris Elba, Jenny Slate, Bonnie Hunt, Patrick Warburton, Alan Tudyk, Shakira, and Brenda Song.
The plot revolves around a new character, Gary De’Snake, voiced by Ke Huy Quan, whose arrival prompts a citywide manhunt, adding layers to the story’s central mystery. The sequel aims to expand the Zootopia universe and continue exploring themes and adventures that captivated audiences in the first film.
