Earlier this year it was announced the Skyfall helmer Sam Mendes left Disney’s remake of James and the Giant Peach to board another Disney project a live-action adaptation of Pinocchio. Since then we haven’t heard much news on the project, until now.
According to Tracking-Board.com Sam Mendes has exited the project.
Despite the setback Disney still wants to do this project and will begin its search for a new director immediately, and based on their track record it won’t be hard for Disney to find a big name director to step in.
