A little over a week ago it was reported that Disney was developing new content for their exclusive streaming service debuting in 2019. You can check that article out here. Well now more content is being eyed for the streaming service.
Disney is hard at work on a brand new Muppets reboot. The studio is currently looking for a writer, with Brian Lynch (Secret Life Of Pets, Puss In Boots) being the top choice for the job.
The Mighty Ducks TV series was also looking for a home on a network, but we are being told that will also head to the streaming service.
Disney’s is also making a heavy push to make reboots for The Parent Trap, Father Of The Bride, and Honey, Shrunk The Kids! These titles are first on the table for Disney to develop.
The streaming service is expected to debut sometime in the fall of 2019.
