Guess Who’s Back?! Billy Dee Williams To Reprise His Role As Lando Calrissian In EPISODE 9

Yes sir! Our favorite gambler, swindler and all around smooth talker is back! Recently, it has been reported that Billy Dee Williams is set to reprise his role of Lando Calrissian for Star Wars: Episode 9. Though this will not be Williams first time reprising his role has the smooth talking gambler, a few years ago Williams voiced the character in an episode of Star Wars Rebels. This also doesn’t mark the first time since 1986 (Return of the Jedi) the character has returned to the big screen. Recently, Donald Glover (Atlanta) lent his interpretation of the character in Solo: A Star Wars Story.  Though there is much speculation of how or why the character will return after so long, let’s just hope he survives the final act of the film. Star Wars: Episode 9 is set to blast into theaters December 20th, 2019
