Production is currently underground on Disney’s highly anticipated film Frozen 2. And it looks as though the film may get some minor rewrites from an Academy Award nominated writer.
Allison Schroeder the screenwriter behind Hidden Figures and Christopher Robin has come aboard to assist director and new Chief Creative Officer Jennifer Lee with writing the film.
The films original voice cast Kristen Bell (Anna), Idina Menzel (Elsa), Josh Gad (Olaf), Jonathan Groff (Kristoff), Santino Fontana (Hans), and Alan Tudyk (Duke) are all set to return. New additions to the cast include Sterling K. Brown and Evan Rachel Woods, their roles are unknown at this time.
Lee’s directing partner Chris Buck is also on board. Peter Del Vecho is producing. As of now the plot is unknown. We did report a while back that Anna and Elsa’s mom may have a role in the upcoming film.
Frozen 2 is set to hit theaters on November 27, 2019.
