With Pixar’s Incredibles 2 arriving on digital home video this Tuesday, deleted scenes from the blockbuster animated film have begun to arrive online with the latest unveiling a particular fan-favorite character. Frozone’s wife Honey, who had previously been heard in the film and its 2004 predecessor, officially makes her visual debut in an unused animated sequence from the sequel that will be included with the home video release.

Released through io9, the scene shows a rough animatic of the film’s opening action sequence from a new perspective as an unnamed woman watches the Underminer devastate the city. Silently, she grabs Frozone’s costume revealing herself as the superhero’s wife.

Introduced by filmmaker Brad Bird, the director felt the scene distracted audiences too much from the main action while ruining the joke of what Honey ultimately looks like. While concept art of the character is included, Bird prefers Honey’s final appearance to be up to the viewers’ imaginations.

n “Incredibles 2,” Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is called on to lead a campaign to bring Supers back, while Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) navigates the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell), Dash (voice of Huck Milner) and baby Jack-Jack—whose superpowers are about to be discovered. Their mission is derailed, however, when a new villain emerges with a brilliant and dangerous plot that threatens everything. But the Parrs don’t shy away from a challenge, especially with Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) by their side. That’s what makes this family so Incredible.

Directed by Brad Bird, The Incredibles 2 stars Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, Sarah Vowell, Huck Milner, Samuel L. Jackson, Bob Odenkirk, Catherine Keener, Jonathan Banks, Sophia Bush, and Isabella Rossellini.
