EXCLUSIVE: ‘Diary of a Female President’ Coming to Disney+

CBS and Gina Rodriguez’s production company I Can and I Will Productions are developing a series that will be joining one of the many exclusive shows coming to the Disney streaming service, Disney +.

Written by Robin Shorr and Ilana Peña (The Middle, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend) the show will be called Diary of a Female President, focusing on the middle school years of a young Latina girl who will eventually become president.

Diary of a Female President’s writers will also be producing the series with Gina Rodriguez and development executive of the production company, Emily Gipson.

Diary of a Female President will be just one of the several developments joining the Disney streaming service. Recently announced in a DisInsider article, another series centered on a divorced gay couple will also be on the platform.

Before the service launches, it is interesting to see the shows to come that include a variety of genres that appeal and inspire audiences who also will feel represented. Personally, I’m excited to see what happens and hope the shows will turn out great!

Be sure sure to stay up to date on all the amazing content from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and of course Muppets, coming to Disney+.
