Jeremy Renner is expected to reprise his role as the title character also known as Clint Barton. Renner has played Hawkeye since making an uncredited cameo in 2011’s “Thor.” He has reprised the role in Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America: Civil War and the upcoming Avengers: Endgame. The series will focus on Barton training another non-super-powered bow and arrow weirder, Kate Bishop, and how to be a superhero with no super-powers.

Hawkeye is a part of Marvel Studios’ Phase 4 slate, which also includes Black Widow, The Eternals, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (Disney+ Series), Shang-Chi, WandaVision (Disney+ Series), Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Loki (Disney+ series), and Thor: Love and Thunder.

It’s unknown at this time if any other Avengers will make an appearance on the series, who the villain will be, or who will be play the new Hawkeye, Kate Bishop.
