There’s been a lot of speculation centered around New Mutants and whether or not it will be released. The film was supposed to release way back in April of 2018; however, it has been pushed back several times, officially landing on April 3, 2020. The Fox/Disney merger had a bit to do with the delay but reports have said that Fox wasn’t happy with the end result. Josh Boone planned reshoots in September 2018 to make the film more “scarier” but nothing has seemed to come out since.
