New ‘The Simpson’s’ Short To Play In Front of Pixar’s ‘Onward’

Pixar has had a long tradition of putting amazing short films in front of their features, granted some there has been times when Pixar didn’t have a short ready, but that’s a rare occasion. Well, for those wondering if we will be getting a short in front of Onward, wonder no more, as the now owned by Disney series The Simpsons will be debuting a short titled Playdate with Destiny, centered on the youngest member of the family, Maggie. You may remember in 2017 Pixar’s Coco had a short film that was made by Disney Animation, however, this becomes the first not created by in-house animators.
