Disney’s Investor Day 2020 Coming October 7th

Last month, during the Walt Disney Company’s quarterly earnings call, CEO Bob Chapek announced that the company would be hosting another Investors Day event in the coming months. Today, LiveStorm revealed that the event will be taking place on Wednesday, October 7th, 2020 at 10:00 AM (AST). For those unfamiliar, LiveStorm is the streaming site that will be hosting the event.

This event should answer a lot of questions not only on investor’s minds but fans of the Disney Company’s various subsidiaries including films, streaming, and theme parks and resorts. So what can we expect from this Investors Day Event?

For starters, we will be getting an update on the subscriber base for Disney+ and Hulu. We should also be getting some accurate figures on Mulan‘s financial gain via “Premier Access” on Disney+, and whether or not future films will also make the move to Premier Access, Pixar’s Soul is the next film being considered, according to insiders. We may even get an update on Marvel Studios’ Black Widow and if they reports of a new theatrical release are accurate.

Mulan

This event is primarily aimed at investors and stockholders, so usually these things are business-focused, and all about finances. However, I expect we will learn more about the new series from Marvel Studios such as WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, Ms. Marvel, Hawkeye, She-Hulk, and Moon Knight. In addition to hopefully getting updates on series such as Lizzy McGuire, The Mighty Ducks, Turner & Hooch, and more. The event will also be taking place just under four weeks before the debut of The Mandalorian season two.
