We’re more than a year away from finally seeing Indiana Jones 5 come to fruition, but director James Mangold has his next project already set at 20th Century Studios.

According to Deadline, Mangold will direct a motion picture about the legendary filmmaker and comedian Buster Keaton based on the autobiography Buster Keaton: Cut to the Chase by Marion Meade.

Considered one of the greatest physical comedians in the history of cinema, Joseph Frank “Buster” Keaton was also a masterful moviemaker. While Keaton often did his own stunts, he was also known for his willingness to experiment with the medium. Some of his most popular films include The Playhouse, The General, and Sherlock Jr.

The film will be the latest in a long line of projects which Mangold has produced for 20th Century, even before Disney acquired it. Hugh Jackman notably hand-picked Mangold to take over the Wolverine franchise after X-Men: Origins tanked.

Mangold currently has a first-look deal with the company, and is expected to begin pre-production as soon as production on Indiana Jones 5 wraps in the coming weeks.

Expect more details soon!
