According to Deadline, Seth Rogen is the latest star to join Aziz Anzari’s directorial debut over at Searchlight.
He’s the third name to join the film, alongside the previously announced Bill Murray and Anzari himself.
Anzari is reportedly a jack of all trades for the film, having written the script and serving as one of the producers too.
The film is based on the book Being Mortal: Medicine and What Matters in the End, a 2014 non-fiction book by American surgeon Atul Gawande that addresses end-of-life care, hospice care, alongside Gawande’s reflections and personal stories.
The film will begin shooting next month, with Searchlight planning to release the film next year.
