It’s official. “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” is now the biggest Disney song of all time, according to Billboard.
It’s been nearly 3 months since the song first debuted on Billboard’s Hot 100 list. While that isn’t the longest time a Disney song has spent on the chart, it did spend that most time sitting at number one than any other song in the company’s history.
The song sat as the country’s hottest song for 5 straight weeks from late January to early March. Currently it sits at Number 8 (which is still good). Certainly Encanto earning the Academy Award two weeks ago hasn’t hurt either, especially since “We Don’t Talk About Bruno,” is only one of seven songs to still be on the chart.
The hit is joined by ‘Surface Pressure”, “The Family Madrigal”, and “Dos Oruguitas”, which was also nominated for an Academy Award but lost to Billy Eilish and Finneas’ James Bond theme for No Time To Die.
Right behind “Bruno” on Disney’s Greatest Of All Time list, is “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” from The Lion King, followed by Aladdin‘s “A Whole New World.”
Although the list will most certainly continue to evolve – especially with songs from Turning Red‘s soundtrack slowly climbing the chart, you can check out the top 10 Greatest Disney Songs Of All Time, calculated by Billboard below!
