The Nova Core seems to be gaining a new member! Terry Crews has joined the cast of Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind according to a new first look tweet by Disney Parks. He will be playing Centurion Tal Marik, a close advisor to Nova Prime.

Terry Crews is not the first actor to be confirmed to have a role in the upcoming attraction at EPCOT. Glenn Close, who played Nova Prime in the original Guardians of the Galaxy, will also have a role in the ride. Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, and Dave Bautista are also confirmed to have recorded new scenes for the ride. These scenes were directed by James Gunn during the production of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind is set to open on May 27th, 2022 at EPCOT as a part of the 50th Anniversary Celebration of Walt Disney World. The ride will see guests traveling all the way back to the Big Bang in an attempt to save the galaxy from the evil Celestial, Eson.
