First Official Look at Charlize Theron as Clea in ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’

Looks like Doctor Strange has a new multiversal companion. After much speculation, this weekend’s release of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness gave viewers a look at a new character joining the MCU. While wandering the streets of New York City, Doctor Strange suddenly dropped to the ground, revealing he had grown a third eye, just like his variant counterpart Sinister Strange. Strange is then confronted by Clea herself. She tells Strange that he had caused an incursion in the Multiverse and it was their job to fix it. Charlize Theron herself provided a photo of the scene as well as a picture of her makeup on Instagram.

Clea is a huge supporting character to Doctor Strange in the comics. She is also a sorcerer and even the niece of Dormamu himself. She is the eventual wife of Doctor Strange and even takes up his mantel of the Sorcerer Supreme.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is now playing in theaters. It was a smash hit at the box office and made over $185 million domestically in it’s opening weekend. You can read our review of the film here.
