‘Pinocchio’ Trailer Features Some Fun Easter Eggs

This morning, Disney+ debuted the first trailer for their upcoming live-action Pinocchio remake. While the trailer gave us our first look at some of the film’s characters, it’s what is in the background that has some fans excited.

MMDisney200 did some hunting and found some easter eggs in Geppetto’s iconic workshop. Hanging on the walls are the cuckoo clocks, just like in the animated classic, however, if you take a closer look you will see clocks featuring Snow White, Aurora from Sleeping Beauty, Donald Duck, The Lion King, and even Roger and Jessica Rabbit. Take a look at the photos below.

Academy Award winner Robert Zemeckis directs this live-action retelling of the beloved tale of a wooden puppet who embarks on a thrilling adventure to become a real boy. Tom Hanks stars as Geppetto, the woodcarver who builds and treats Pinocchio (Benjamin Evan Ainsworth) as if he were his own son. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is Jiminy Cricket, who serves as Pinocchio’s guide as well as his “conscience”; Academy Award® nominee Cynthia Erivo is the Blue Fairy; Keegan-Michael Key is “Honest” John; Academy Award nominee Lorraine Bracco is Sofia the Seagull, a new character, and Luke Evans is The Coachman. Also in the cast are Kyanne Lamaya as Fabiana (and her marionette Sabina), Giuseppe Battiston as Señor Stromboli and Lewin Lloyd as Lampwick.

Robert Zemeckis, Derek Hogue, Andrew Miano, Chris Weitz, and Paul Weitz are the film’s producers, with Jackie Levine, Jack Rapke, Alexandra Derbyshire, and Jeremy Johns the executive producers.
