Composer Christophe Beck to Score ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’

Composer Christophe Beck (Frozen) is back in business with Marvel Studios. Beck has signed on to score Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which is set to debut next year.

Director Peyton Reed is returning to helm Quantumania. Details on the project are being kept under wraps, but franchise stars Paul Rudd (Scott Lang aka Ant-Man), Evangeline Lilly (Hope Van Dyne aka Wasp), Michael Dough (Dr. Hank Pym), and Michelle Pfeiffer (Janet Van Dyne) are all expected to return to the heist-adventure film series. Jonathan Majors will return as Kang the Conqueror, as will Corey Stoll as Darren Cross aka Yellowjacket. Bill Murray will also appear in an unknown role. Jeff Loveness (Rick and Morty) wrote the script.

As for Beck, he is no stranger working with The Walt Disney Company, he composed the score of the short film, Paperman, the 2011 film, The Muppets, the 2013 Disney animated feature film, Frozen, the 2014 films: Muppets Most Wanted and Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, and scored the short, Frozen Fever, the 2015 Marvel Studios film, Ant-Man and the 2018 sequel, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Frozen II , the Disney+ series Wandavision, the 2021 20th Century Studios film, Free Guy, and the Disney+ series Hawkeye.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is set to hit theaters on February 17, 2023. Film Music Reporter was first to report on Beck’s involvement.
