It’s with great sadness we report that veteran actress Pat Carroll has passed away.
According to Deadline, Carroll died at her home in Cape Cod, Massachusetts Saturday, while recovering from pnuemonia.
Carroll was arguably most known for role as Ursula in Disney’s animated The Little Mermaid. She also reprised the role in many of the company’s animated specials. She also played Ursula’s sister Morgana in The Little Mermaid’s direct-to-video sequel.
Carroll had a career that spanned 8 decades. Since breaking onto the acting scene in the late 40s, she’s gone appeared on The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Laverne and Shirley, and even the original Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers.
She last voiced Ursula in an animated Disney short released in 2020.
Carroll was 95.
