New Movies From Roadside Attractions Will Go to Hulu After Playing in Theaters

Roadside Attractions, the indie production company behind critically acclaimed films such as The Peanut Butter Falcon, The Skeleton Twins, and Judy, will see all their movies land on Hulu after their theatrical run.

The production company inked a multi-year deal with the Disney-owned streamer for its post-theatrical window. This is known in the business as the “pay one window”. This will bring their movies to Hulu sooner following a theatrical run.

“Our new relationship with Hulu is a win for everyone — but especially the talented producers whose films we acquire for distribution. It means we at Roadside can focus on maximizing our films in theaters with the confidence they will find a corresponding home on Hulu’s premium streaming platform, which delivers the industry’s highest caliber and most entertaining independent cinema.”
