Marvel Studios ‘Echo’ Wraps Filming

Marvel Studios upcoming Hawkeye spin-off Echo has wrapped filming. Series’ star Alaqua Cox took to Instagram to share the news.

Cox sent a text message to her late father, who sadly passed away last year. “We just wrapped up Echo! I did it dad!!” Cox continued with one more message. “I know you’re so proud of me, dad. I love and miss you so much.”

Streaming exclusively on Disney+ in 2023, the origin story of Echo revisits Maya Lopez, whose ruthless behavior in New York City catches up with her in her hometown. Episodes of the series are directed by Sydney Freeland (Navajo) and Catriona McKenzie (Gunaikurnai). Executive producers are Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Stephen Broussard, Richie Palmer, Marion Dayre and Jason Gavin (Blackfeet). Co-executive producers are Amy Rardin, Sydney Freeland, Christina King (Seminole) and Jennifer Booth.
