Just in from D23‘s Walt Disney Animation panel: the studio is going all out for its next animated feature, which also happens to be its 100th animated project.
Titled Wish, the film will reportedly revolve around the wish and the power wishes have had across all of Disney’s animated films. From Pinocchio to Aladdin and beyond, the animation style will also reportedly be a blend of 2D and 3D.
Academy Award-winner Jennifer Lee announced the film. She will serve as the film’s writer.
Academy Award-winner Ariana DeBose will lead the film alongside Alan Tudyk. Their characters will be named Asha and Valentino respectively.
Singer/Songwriter Julia Michaels will provide original music for the film too.
