While Frozen 3 has yet to be officially announced – though that could change today – that hasn’t stopped members of the press from asking about it.
Shortly after being inducted into the latest class of Disney Legends, franchise star Josh Gad was actually approached by Variety and questioned about the film. Rather than give a coy response or remain silent, he opted to give a pretty entertaining answer.
“This is an exclusive,” he insists, before claiming that the third film will somehow be a crossover with Game of Thrones.
“Frozen three is going to be about the White Walkers because of the success of the Game of Thrones spin-off,” he says. You’re not going to get this anywhere else. HBO and Disney are teaming up is going to be a spin-off and basically we’re going to have to help the Targaryens fight a resurgence of White Walkers everywhere.”
Despite cracking a smile, Gad commits to the bit by even teasing some of the music that the clearly made-up project will include.
We’re just surprised he didn’t mention anything about Jon Snow.
