Yesterday, a report came out from The Ankler’s Jeff Sneider that a Vision series is in the works at Marvel Studios and Disney+. Today, Deadline has confirmed that and added some more details.

According to the trade, the series titled Vision Quest, will be overseen by Jac Schaeffer, the creator, writer, and executive producer on both WandaVision, and the upcoming spin-off Agatha: Coven of Chaos, which starts filming in the next few weeks. Paul Bettany is of course expected to reprise his role as the character.

Plot details are being kept under wraps; however, it will focus on Vision trying to regain his memory and humanity. A writer’s room is being put together next week. The trade goes on to add that there is a possibility for Elizabeth Olsen’s return as Wanda Maximoff in the series, which would make sense due to Maximoff and Vision’s history throughout the MCU over the last 7 years.

The new spinoff is being unofficially referred to by some as the White Vision project after the most recent on-screen version of the character. Introduced at the end of Episode 8 of WandaVision, White Vision was created by S.W.O.R.D. by rebuilding and reactivating Vision’s body and sent on a mission to destroy Wanda and her “Conditional” Vision. The character would go on to fight Wanda’s created Vision only to relearn his past events and fly off, nowhere to be found.
