RUMOR: ‘Wonder Man’ Recruits Bob Odenkirk For ‘Super’ Secret Role

Now that Moon Knight, Ms. Marvel, and She-Hulk have all finally made their MCU debuts, it’s time to look on the horizon at the next class of heroes coming soon. Ironheart and Echo aside, that includes Wonder Man, who Yahya Abdul-Mateen II was just confirmed to be playing earlier this week.

Although the latter is still in the early stages of production, it seems as if the casting process is in constant motion. And a new rumor suggests that another actor has just joined the project aside from Yahya.

According to The Illuminerdi, it’s believed that Bob Odenkirk (of Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul) fame is in early talks to play Simon Williams a.k.a Wonder Man’s agent/manager.

While the character doesn’t have a name currently, the site speculates that he could be playing Neal Saroyan, who is both Williams’ agent – and later adversary, after developing psychic powers.

It’s unclear if such a storyline will play out on the show, or if Odenkirk will play an entirely different character. That’s if this report is true too. As always, because this has not been announced by a major trade or confirmed by Marvel, it should be taken with a grain of salt.

While it would somewhat feel like typecasting to see Odenkirk in a very business-savvy role again, we would still like to see if him join the MCU. What do you guys think? Sound off below!
