‘Frozen’, ‘Zootopia’ and ‘Toy Story’ Sequels Get Release Dates

Just announced during Disney’s first earnings call of 2024: Sequels for Frozen, Zootopia and Toy Story are still on the way!

While we haven’t gotten any major updates since they were last announced, today The Walt Disney Company unveiled tentative release dates for all three of them.

After Moana comes out this November, it appears that Zootopia 2 will be the next big sequel from Walt Disney Animation Studios to hit theaters in 2025.

Frozen 3 and Toy Story 5 are now currently expected hit theaters in 2026. The latter makes sense considering that Elio was recently delayed to 2025.

While no concrete dates have been confirmed so far, Fandango’s Erik Davis has mapped out potential release dates based on Disney’s previous year-spanning release date schedule:
