Announced today from Marvel Games and NetEase Games, MARVEL RIVALS, a new free-to-play cooperative PVP shooter featuring heroes and villains all across the Marvel Multiverse!
In MARVEL RIVALS players will be able to assemble teams of characters with unique powers – ranging from Iron Man, Black Panter, Storm, Peni Parker and more – to battle across dynamic maps from Marvel’s history. The game is in development for PC and Steam

As per Marvel.com, MARVEL RIVALS will feature a “deep and varied” character roster including heroes from the Avengers, the X-Men and Guardians of the Galaxy; fast and fun 6v6 with constantly changing dynamics; “dynamic hero syngergy” which will allow players to coordinate unique combinations between characters and “creative enviroment destruction” with maps that can be altered for a team’s advantage by reshaping the terrain.
In MAVEL RIVALS the clash between Doctor Doom and his future counterpart of 2099 will put the entire timestream in danger, forcing heroes and villains from all over the Marvel Multiverse to come together to save all of creation! Familiar faces become newfound foes while former enemies become the greatest of allies in Marvel Rivals!
The game’s Alpha Test will be held in May.
