June Squibb Voicing Nostalgia in ‘Inside Out 2’

Inside Out 2 is right around the corner and in the film we get to reunite with emotions Joy, Sadness, Anger, Disgust, and Fear. In the sequel we get to meet new emotions Anxiety, Envy, Ennui, and Embarrassment. Well, a new emotion has been revealed.

Thanks to Pixar Post, who visited Pixar Animation Studios and saw 30 minutes of the film, they have provided a first look at the surprise new emotion Nostalgia. We can confirm that June Squibb, who joined the cast earlier this year is voicing the character. Our friend @josephcosmic on Twitter was one of the first to learn the news.

Maya Hawke lends her voice to Anxiety, alongside Amy Poehler as Joy, Phyllis Smith as Sadness, Lewis Black as Anger, Tony Hale as Fear, Liza Lapira as Disgust, Paul Walter Hauser as embarrassment, Ayo Edibeiri as Envy, and Adèle Exarchopoulos as Ennui. Rounding out the cast is Diane Lane, John Ratzenberger, Yvette Nicole Brown, and Kyle MacLachlan.

Directed by Kelsey Mann and produced by Mark Nielsen, Inside Out 2 releases only in theaters on June 14, 2024.
