Looks like it’s “Game Over!” for Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
This summer, the Avengers are going to face off against one of the greatest horrors the cosmos: Xenomoprhs. Thanks to Marvel Maestro Jonathan Hickman and veteran artist Esad Ribić, fans will be able to bear witness to one of the greatest comic crossovers in modern memory: “Aliens vs. Avengers.”
This series will be the very first Marvel and Aliens crossover.
In a press release, Hickman said that what excites him most of this project was “how to “find”[finding] ways to ‘Avengerize’ Aliens and ‘alien-up’ Avengers”.
“The four-part epic is set in a new timeline many years in the future and features older, grittier versions of Marvel characters. It also will be the first-time readers will see certain parts of Alien lore in the Marvel Universe—like the home of the Engineers. In this unmissable series, Xenomorphs reach Earth, and the perfect organism meets a planet of superhumans. But who will be first to fall?”
