The Disney Channel is sadly no long moving forward with the That’s So Raven sequel series Raven’s Home. But that doesn’t mean the franchise is over just yet.
Per Deadline, Raven-Symoné has signed a new multi-year overall deal with Disney Branded Television. Under this new deal, she’s set to produce, direct and develop numerous other projects at the House of Mouse. This includes a new spin-off of Raven’s Home.
The 6th season of the popular series, which just ended in September of last year, unfortunately turned out to be the series’ last.
The new series, titled Alice in the Palace, is a multi-camera comedy series which will revolve around Raven’s young cousin named Alice (played Mykal-Michelle Harris) who was introduced in Raven’s Home. A pilot has been ordered.

The synopsis is as follows:
When Alice returns to England, she meets a young royal named Duchess Clementine (also portrayed by Harris). In classic Disney fashion, the two occasionally trade places. Along the way, Clementine gets a taste of the fun side of “normal” life, while Alice gets a taste of the finer side of “regal” life.
Raven’s Home developers Jed Elinoff and Scott Thomas will write and executive produce the pilot.
The news comes just one day after the Disney also ordered the pilot for the Wizards of Waverly Place sequel series, fittingly titled Wizards Beyond Waverly Place.
Funny enough, this isn’t the first time the franchise has gotten a spin-off. Many OG Disney Channel fans might remember the short-lived spin-off series titled Cory in the House starring Kyle Massey. Taking place after the events of That’s So Raven, it revolved around the misadventures of Raven’s brother, Cory, after he and their father move into the White House.
