The Poohniverse is truly expanding.
Ahead of the release of Jagged Edge Productions’ twisted adaptation of Peter Pan later this year, the studio has unveiled the first look at the twisted version of the character.

Titled Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare, the fill will reportedly follow Wendy Darling as she tries to rescue her brother Michael from “the clutches of the evil Peter Pan.” In the film, Wendy will also meet a twisted version of Tinkerbell, who will be portrayed as a junkie hooked on…pixie dust.
Scott Chambers wrote the pic and is also helming while Rhys Frake-Waterfield, who directed both Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey, films serves as producer.
The film is currently shooting overseas. While there is no release date yet, Variety also reports that the film is being shopped around at Cannes.
