Just when things couldn’t get any freakier…
Well, it turns out that’s exactly what they are becoming because during this year’s D23 Expo, both Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan appeared to unveil a brand new title for the highly-anticipated Freaky Friday sequel.

The sequel, currently in production, promises to bring back many familiar faces from the original film, including Mark Harmon, Chad Michael Murray, Christina Vidal Mitchell, Haley Hudson, Lucille Soong, Stephen Tobolowsky, and Rosalind Chao.
Directed by Nisha Ganatra, known for her work on Late Night and The High Note, the sequel will introduce new characters played by Julia Butters, Manny Jacinto, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, and Sophia Hammons. Although specific plot details are being kept under wraps, it’s known that the story will involve Tess and Anna switching bodies with two teenage girls, adding a new twist to the body-swapping hijinks.
The film will hit theaters next year!
