‘Monsters Inc.’ Land Coming To Hollywood Studios

Talk about a scary good time…

Fans of Pixar’s Monsters Inc. will be pleased to know that a brand-new land themed around the film is coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida.

The announcement was made Saturday evening during the Disney Experiences Showcase at D23.

The official Disney Parks TikTok account posted the video below to commemorate the announcement.

The concept for the park is as follows:

“Picking up after the events of Pixar Animation Studios’ beloved film, humans have now been invited to visit the world of Monsters, Inc. — and the monsters need laughter to power the city and keep it running smoothly. But it’s not a true visit without the factory itself. You’ll be able to see the sights, hear the laughs and zoom through the building just like James P. Sullivan (a.k.a. Sulley) and Mike Wazowski — via a door!”

The factory at the park will be home to the first suspended coaster ever in a Disney park. It’ll be reminiscent of the sequence in the first film where Mike and Sully ride the doors around to try and find Boo.

The coaster will put you right in the middle of the monster action.

Work on the project is slated to begin next year, so get ready to ROAR with laughter!
