SEE IT: Minnie Mouse Becomes Marvel’s Mightiest Heroine In New Marvel “What If…?” Series

Ove the last few years Marvel and Disney have surprised and delighted readers with collaborations that have transformed Mickey Mouse and friends into many of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. And after Donald Duck’s adventures as Wolverine and Thor, none other than Minnie Mouse will follow suit by becoming Captain Marvel!

This marvelous reimagining will be tackled by renowned Disney comic writers Steve Behling and Luca Barbieri along with artist Giada Perissinotto, who will tackle a new take on the origins of Carol Danvers as seen in  MS. MARVEL (1977) #1-4, including Peg Leg Pete as the Scorpion?!

The plot synopsis is as follows:

“What is the secret past of Minnie Mouse? Our story finds The Chronicle newspaper reporter Minnie Mouse tasked with an exposé on a new hero on the scene in Duckburg, CAPTAIN MARVEL! But Peg Leg Pete – Scorpion complicates her plans with an attack on the Chronicle building! To make matters worse, John D. Rockerduck and the Beagle Boys attack Scrooge McDuck’s money bin, and when Captain Marvel shows up to stop them, Minnie discovers an incredible secret about her past! What is Minnie’s connection to Duckburg’s sensational new hero, Captain Marvel?”
