Just days after reports came out that Paul King (Wonka, Paddington) would be directing Disney’s long-in-development Prince Charming movie, a new rumor has surfaced on the project.
According to The InSneider, Chris Hemsworth (Thor: Love and Thunder, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga) is reportedly being considered to star in King’s Prince Charming film for Disney.
Specific plot points remain undisclosed, but the film is expected to explore a fresh take on this iconic fairytale character. The character, famous for his connections to Disney princesses, is traditionally Cinderella’s love interest, though he is often mistakenly associated with Sleeping Beauty and Snow White.
The film is expected to begin filming in 2025 for a 2026 release, which we hear will be for the big screen and not a Disney+ exclusive.
