Believe it or not, there is another Avatar film coming out next year.
While we still know very little about it – other than the title – that did not stop Disney from sharing some new stills from the film at D23 Brasil.
Per James Cameron, some of the stills show another new tribe joining the series. While no name was given, it was revealed that they are nomadic and travel by air.

Speaking a little more about the film at the convention, Cameron revealed that the other tribe being introduced in the film, the titular Ash People, is meant to be a reflection of humanity.
“We have a lot of anger and a lot of rage in the world we live in right now,” he said.
While there is still no official plot synopsis, all this new info undoubtedly helps paint a picture about the kind of story Cameron will tell.
Avatar: Fire and Ash hits theaters December 19, 2025.
